Our office is part of the Pediatric Evening Referral Center (PERC) located at 3801 Sacramento Street, suite #219. Their phone number is (415)387-9293. They are available by phone from 5 pm – 7 am Monday through Friday and 24 hours on the weekend and selected holidays. This clinic is staffed on a rotational basis by pediatricians in the community including seven doctors from our practice. Patients needing to be seen after our offices have closed can call the number listed above and be given an appointment to be seen at night or on the weekends. They do not see patients on a walk-in basis. The clinic is for urgent care only and is not to be used for routine care. If your child is seen in PERC, information from the visit will be faxed to our office the next day.
One of our doctors is on call at all times. 911 should be used for life-threatening emergencies. If there is an emergency or your child has a complicated problem, the on-call doctor can be reached through the answering service or by the PERC doctor. The hours of PERC can vary and no patients are seen without an appointment. There is an advice nurse available through PERC, when our office is closed.
PERC accepts most insurance plans that we accept, but not all of them. Please verify with PERC that they accept your plan.

Call-Share
Our practice shares call with the Pediatric Practice of Drs. Fukuda, Montgomery and Sullivan. It is possible that if you need to speak with a doctor during non-business hours, one of these doctors will be the one returning your call. It is also possible that one of these doctors will visit you in the hospital when your baby is born. If this is the case, you might receive a bill from their office if there is a patient responsibility portion after your insurer processes the claim.
