The flu vaccine we are administering this year contains both the Seasonal Flu and H1N1 Flu combined into one vaccine and all the vaccine we are administering is Thimerosal Free.
This flu season it is being recommended that everyone age 6 months and older be vaccinated.
We are still offering the Injectable flu vaccine, however we are now all out of stock of the Nasal Spray version. There are certain restrictions on who can receive the Flu Vaccine, so please be sure to read the Vaccine Information Sheet before scheduling your appointment.
Parents & Caretakers
We will be offering the injectable flu vaccine to parents and caretakers of our patients in our flu clinics by appointment. We are offering this service as a convenience to our patient’s families. Payment is expected at the time of service and we will not bill your insurance for the service. We will provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance if you would like to try to get reimbursed, but we cannot guarantee your insurance will cover the service.
IMPORTANT: If your child has a scheduled appointment for the flu vaccine and is going to be coming to the appointment without a legal guardian, it is mandatory that the patient come in with the appropriate waiver form signed by their parent/legal guardian. If the patient comes to the appointment without a signed waiver form or legal guardian present to sign it, the appointment will have to be rescheduled.

Flu Booster Vaccine
If a child under the age of 9 years did not receive a flu vaccine for the 2010 – 2011 season, they should receive two doses a minimum of 4 weeks apart this season.
Anyone 9 years and older or any child under 9 years of age who received at least a single dose of the 2010 – 2011 flu vaccine, only needs one dose this year.
